Bonus Tip #4: A Peaceful Mind
A Peaceful Mind
Having a peaceful mind during a round of golf can lead to more fun and confidence. Having a peaceful mind can be achieved by a few simple steps.
- Erase the thought of all bad shots from your head and clear all frustration of a poor shot before approaching your next shot.
- Envision a window 20ft in front of you that you want the ball to travel through, trying to hit it through the window will help you control the launch of your golf ball and start the ball on the right line.
- Have a set pre-shot routine, this should be the same routine for every club in your bag. This will help promote consistency and order in your game. Part of this pre shot routine should include envisioning the ball flight of the shot you want to hit and only that shot to avoid thinking of a poor shot.
